Semcon and Brudeli Green Mobility in new partnership within electrification.
In a new partnership Semcon teams up with Brudeli Green Mobility (BGM) in Norway. The collaboration aims to further develop BGM’s patent solutions within hybrid drivelines for the commercial vehicle market.
BGM is a tech start-up with the mission to build expertise in areas such as electric motors, cybernetics and mechanical design. The company has a strong patent for hybrid driveline solutions and is currently working with leading international automotive manufacturers.
New sustainable technology is crucial to reduce climate change. Many great ideas are generated from start-ups and with the support of our industrial expertise and experience, Semcon is giving those ideas increased potential. Brudeli Green Mobility is one of the more interesting companies to watch in this field, it is a very inspiring partnership.
Semcon will be a key development partner when BGM now begins to build the test system for electric drivelines, a project supported by RFF – Regional Research Fund Viken. Semcon’s experts will have a central role in developing the control system.
Brudeli Green Mobility has received funding from Innovation Norway and benefits from the Research Council of Norway’s Tax Recovery Scheme to develop the company’s patent-protected knowledge for electrification of medium and heavy commercial vehicles.
Founder Geir Brudeli says:“BGM have set high goals. We aim to deliver world-leading system solutions for electrified truck transmissions, by offering our customers superior performance”.
Today, it is important to be able to do more with less, and not at the expense of others. We need to stay focused on sustainability with a vision to take care of each other and our common resources.
