Semcon wins framework agreement with Gävle Municipality in project methodology and training
As the sole supplier, Semcon continues to support Gävle Municipality with project methodology and project-related training. The new framework agreement spans four years and has an order value of SEK 5.5 million.
Gävle Municipality employs around 6,000 employees across various areas, with a significant portion of the work conducted in project form. For several years, Semcon has assisted the municipality with professional development in the project and portfolio area. The aim is for Semcon’s project methodology, XLPM, to be used consistently throughout the municipal group.
“For this type of organisation, it’s important to implement ways of working that can be adapted to the needs, maturity, and competence levels of the operations. We are, of course, very pleased to continue this journey together,” says Elin Sins, Business Manager Project Excellence at Semcon.
The partnership with Gävle Municipality started in 2010, and the level of ambition has grown over the years. Advisory and training services will be crucial during the upcoming contract period to take benefit from the many possibilities of the XLPM project methodology.
