In 2017, Sweden's electricity production was its second highest ever.
Swedish power grid energy use is equivalent to household electricity for approximately 5000 houses.
12% of the electricity produced in Sweden during 2017 was exported to other countries.
Step by step we are moving towards a more efficient, reliable and not least smart electricity grid. And with major changes ahead of us, we need to find the best methods to combine solutions that meet today’s global standards for electricity grids, while they also simplify the daily work. With the combined competence within Semcon in substations and connected products and environments, we will be able to offer new, innovative and reliable solutions. We aim to be the actor exploring tomorrow’s opportunities in order to create greater value for our customers.
Semcon supplies subprojects on behalf of customers with responsibility for total contracts for conversion and new construction of distribution and transformer substations. The packages we offer our customers primarily consist of:
