Even more digital expertise under one roof.
Following the merger with the IT company Squeed, Semcon is taking the next step on an exciting growth journey within digitalisation. With more employees who are experts in software development and agile leadership, we can together make a difference in all of the sectors in which we already operate – and open doors to new segments.
Squeed has 95 employees, including leading experts in full-stack development, front-end and back-end development, system architecture, testing and cloud services. The company also offers agile coaches specialised in change management, who help organisations achieve greater flexibility and accuracy.
The merger strengthens Semcon’s digital hub that involves digital specialists and can support customers in their digital transition – from initial idea to finished solution.
A merger that adds value
Achieving the full potential of a product
Semcon has historically focused on digital solutions linked to a customer’s core values, their products. The acquisition of Squeed will complement our existing digital offering in, for example, AI and smart products with cutting-edge expertise in such fields as full-stack development and cloud services.
We at Squeed see that we together with Semcon will create a combination of top competences, both in Sweden and internationally. We can support our customers even better in their digital transformation – from first idea to finished solution for both product and software.
New perspectives on technology
When individuals who are specialists in different fields of technology meet, the result is often beautiful code. Through different perspectives and the same genuine passion for people and groundbreaking technology, we can create unique opportunities that benefit our customers. And our employees.
Semcon has a strong presence in a number of industries that will be new and exciting areas for Squeed’s employees to explore. And vice versa. It is particularly positive that we can offer projects to our employees that enable them to grow and develop.
There is also considerable potential to transfer expertise between industries in a completely new way, which will further reinforce the digital offering.
