In customer projects as well as in other types of projects, the project manager has a key role in handling contacts, contracts, changes in scope, cash-flow needs etc. Business skills in projects offers support and tools to handle those situations and to stay ahead of problems.

After the course you will:

  • Have knowledge to take the next step in your career as a project manager and successfully run larger, more complex projects
  • Have an improved understanding of techniques for planning, implementation, follow-up and closure of complex projects, e.g. Earned Value Management and optimisation of the cash flow.
  • Understand the commercial role of being a project manager to a bigger extent than just time, cost and scope
  • Have an improved understanding of the needs and demands on a project manager in the capacity of manager, coach and moderator
  • Have learned useful techniques to better satisfy various project stakeholders

 

Description

By taking a business oriented role as a project manager, you can contribute more to the organisation’s business goals. The course Business Skills in projects is a valuable extension for experienced project managers. In this course, you as project manager will get the tools to work in more complex projects such as techniques for planning, implementation, follow-up and closure of projects.
